Joining the agency as a Senior Adviser, Sam brings with him over five years’ experience as a B2B journalist, including three covering the care sector.

With his extensive industry network and deep knowledge of the care media landscape, he represents a valuable addition to Bridgehead’s existing social care PR and marketing division.

His skill set spans journalism, SEO copywriting, podcast production, events management and PR strategy, particularly within the B2B space.

He will also supplement Bridgehead’s wider work in the corporate and education sectors. The agency’s services include marketing, media relations, profile promotion, crisis and reputation management and political engagement.

Commenting on the appointment, William Walter, Founder and Managing Director of Bridgehead Communications, said: “I’ve known Sam for years. He’s at the top of his game and really understands the sector. He offers valuable intelligence and insight, while also strengthening our position as the leading PR and political communications agency focused on the adult social care sector. I know he’ll prove a fantastic asset as we deepen our roots in the social care sector and beyond.”

Also commenting on his appointment, Sam said: “I’m excited to take up this new role with the talented team at Bridgehead Communications. We worked together extensively during my time at both Care Home Professional and Caring Times. Bridgehead stood out as one of the country’s premier PR agencies. In particular, I always admired Will and the team’s capacity for producing unrivalled content around legislation and thought leadership, as well as their strong connections in Parliament and the care sector. I couldn’t be happier to finally be a member of the team.”
